Migratory Birds in Crisis - Nature Iraq - July 2010

This coming weekend, thousands of people are attending World Migratory Bird Day (WMBD) events which highlight migratory birds in crisis. Nature Iraq is joining our Bird Life Partners around the world to celebrate bird migration, and to highlight the plight of some the world’s most threatened species.
Creation of Professional Medical Team - Nazdar for Children and Heevie Org. - April 2010

Creation of professional medical team for treatment of paediatric cardiac diseases through catheterization in Duhok- Iraq Project. On the 16th of April 2010 at 8:30 A.M, an Italian Medical team visited Duhok city in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, in a humanitarian intended missions to conduct Catheterization interventions and to help improving health sector in the region. The invitation from Nazdar for Children / Heevie Org. in cooperation’s with Duhok Director General Dr. Abdulla Saeed, and with the support of American Embassy, the Italian medical team sent by SIA Italian Org. to treat Congenital Heart Diseases Patients with other fields of specialization related to the cause of this dieses for Screening and Early Detection of Disability. These two missions were the last ones in this project.

Candidate Forums are an effective way to generate interest in the political process and open channels of communication and democratic dialogue between the citizen and candidate. A group of civil society actors including Kurdistan Civil Rights Organization KCRO were involved in this group activity.

In order to effectively contribute to Iraq's recovery, the EU and its member states, including the UK, should acknowledge the need for more significant and longer-term commitment.  Furthermore, they should improve aid effectiveness by ensuring more direct participation of the Iraqi people in the recovery processes.
