The NGO Coordination Committee for Iraq (NCCI) has released its Security Trends Analysis (STA) report for the period covering 1st April to 29th April 2014.
NCCI’s Security Trends Analysis is an informational and advisory report on possible trends, threats and incidents, based upon information received from member NGOs, focal points, the media, international organizations and official sources. This month’s edition focuses upon updates relating to the Anbar political and security situation, the impact of the upcoming parliamentary elections, the security situation in the northern governorates, pre-election security concerns in Kirkuk, increased targeting of the southern governorates, the security environment in Baghdad and other topics.
Within its mandate, NCCI acts to facilitate the sharing of up-to-date information on humanitarian and security trends in Iraq, in order to inform its members about issues that could impact on the effectiveness of humanitarian assistance under challenging and dynamic security conditions in Iraq. The Security Trends Analysis reports are available for NCCI members only and can be accessed via the Members Area of our website.
