MSF is glad to share with you a special package we prepared about one of our projects in Iraq, the Baghdad Medical Rehabilitation Center (BMRC).

Opened by MSF in August 2017, the BMRC provides comprehensive rehabilitation care, including early physiotherapy, nursing care, pain management and psychological support, to the victims of war injured by bomb blasts and gunshots.

After years of conflict, war wounded people in Iraq still face many challenges and badly need rehabilitation (both mental and physical). The BMRC has a comprehensive approach, including both physical and psychological support, early physiotherapy and it’s a center of expertise in terms of infection control, antibiotic treatment design and stewardship.
