Nearly one month after violence erupted in Mosul on June 10th, more than 10,000 people fled the city, most of them seeking refuge in Kurdistan Region of Iraq.

ACTED teams have been mobilised since day 1 in Khazir and Kalak camps, where they are pursuing food and basic non food item distributions to displaced people.

ACTED also manages distributions within urban communities and host communities, supported by REACH teams, who are mapping displaced peoples' locations and assessing their needs, for more efficient distributions and to better inform and coordinate the humanitarian response.
