Save the Children has worked in Iraq since 1991 and since 2009 has been established as the leading INGO for children in Northern and Southern Iraq.
We began our response to the displacement in Anbar in January 2014, and are now aiming to reach 240,000 people in response to the unfolding IDP crisis in the country. So far we have reached 80,303 people across 7 governorates in Iraq.
Save the Children is actively coordinating with governments, UN agencies and other NGOs to respond to the humanitarian crisis.
