As part of the (Early Initiation of Breastfeeding Campaign) activities, the Ministry of Health in collaboration with UNICEF and TAJDID Iraq Foundation for Economic Development are organizing a series of training workshops for medical, middle and service staff working in the field of obstetrics and gynecology on the importance of the Immediate start of breastfeeding by mothers directly after birth. The two days workshops began on 17/9/2018 and the first was held at the Alawiya Obstetrics Hospital. The number of attendees was 20 people from the health staff working in the hospital.
