NRC activity updates 29.11.2016   Emergency aid and cash assistance to newly displaced families The Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) distributed 92 Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) kits for 77 families who last week arrived to Dibaga camp from Qayara, Hawija, Qaraj, Bijil, and Mosul. In Hasan Sham camp, NRC delivered 1603 RRM kits for 1416 families who arrived to the camp recently from Zahraa, Qadisiya, Zihur, Bakir, Intisar, and Samah. In addition, last week 62 families in Binaslawa, Badawa, Topzawa, and Turaq received 360 USD each as part of NRC’s cash assistance. ACTED Communication with Communities: Empowering Syrian refugees through the provision of information Awareness-raising on DAFI/HOPES university scholarships for Syrian refugees ACTED’s Communication with Communities teams in Erbil and Sulaymaniyah have been raising awareness on DAFI and HOPES, two programmes allocating grants for Syrian refugees wishing to pursue their university education in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. In Erbil Governorate, a total of 1,857 Syrian refugees were reached through 43 awareness-raising sessions in four refugee camps: Basirma, Darashakran, Kawergosk, Qushtapa as well urban areas of Erbil and Shaqlawa. At ( 23,24,27 of November 2016) The Foundation of United for Relief and Sustainable Development ( FUAD ) by the supprot and fundding from ( Christian Aid) distributed Emergency Food Aid to ( 554 IDP  families ) from Mosel and they currently residing in  Al- QayyaraSub-District and Suronding villages occuping the unfinished building and the schools. The distributed food Aids were composed of the items bellow: Rice 18 kg. White flour 36 kg. Sugar 6 kg. Vegtable Oil 6 liters. White beans 6 kg. Chickpeas 6 kg. Burguler 6 kg . Salt 1 kg. These Families were in dire need for this food aids and living in very citical situation and suffuring from lack of heath care and medicine stuff…

Sunday, November 27 through Wednesday November 30, 2016, Heartland Alliance International is hosting a MHPSS Training of Trainers in Erbil focusing on child protection, emergency first aid, unaccompanied minors, psychosocial development and monitoring & evaluation for MHPSS programming. Participants include local CSOs, NGOs, social workers, and detention facility staff, directly working with IDPs and detainees in the Nineveh and Erbil regions. Participants will return to their host organizations and conduct related trainings for fellow staff members in order provide better protection to children, youth and their families impacted by Mosul operations.
Over the last week Islamic Relief Worldwide (IRW) implemented the following activities: Food and NFIs support to newly-displaced families Hassansham camps During the last week, IRW’s team distributed 986 Food parcel & NFIs to 4,978 individuals who recently arrived to HassanSham camp last week from Gogjali, Hay Alzahraa, AlQudis, Alentesar and Sadam. GBV support to IDPs in Kirkuk IRW with support of UNFPA, in Laylan, Nazrawa and Daquq camps provided Psycho-Social support to 33 women and 89 females have attended awareness sessions on GBV and also Peer education course were conducted for adolescent.  
The United Iraqi Medical Society For Relief & Development – UIMS funded by (OCHA) distributed the fifth part of food parcels to the IDP families in Al-Amiriyah central camp in Anbar province. UIMS staff distributed the fifth part in 8 camps within the central camp included 1600 constant monthly food parcels to IDP families. The campaign covered 1600 families included 205 families in um al-qura camp (AF 6), 291 families in Al-Hajaj camp (AF 4), 140 families in Al-Falluja camp (AF 15), 281 families in Al-Saada camp (AF 8), 224 families in Al-Wafaa camp, 219 families in Al-Matin camp (AF 19), 190 families in Al-Abrar camp near (AF 21), & 50 families in Al-Saha camp (Hijra 3).
