The Barzani Chrity Foundation is a non-governmental, non-politic al and non-profit organisation which was founded in 2005 in the city of Erbil, the Kurdistan Region of I. Principally, the BCF aims to provide assistance to people-in-need, low-income, internally displaced people and refugees. Education for newly displaced children from Mosul and surrounding areas: Last week, construction was finalised on a new School Support Center in Dibaga Camp, expected to serve up to 4,000 vulnerable internally displaced children. The School Support Centre will serve as a temporary formal school until caravan schools can be constructed, after which time it will provide remedial education and psychosocial support to students in cooperation with the formal school. Additionally, the Erbil team distributed RRM kits with food parcels, safe drinking water, hygiene- and baby kits to 657 newly arrived households in Dibaga Camp, providing immediate aid to nearly 4,000 individuals displaced from Qayyarah, Hawija and Mosul. Classification and categorisation of IED reporting forms and systems:  Technical Working Group meeting at iMMAP office-Erbil iMMAP organised and hosted a Technical Working Group Meeting  in its office in Erbil on 5 October  2016 concerning  the classification and categorisation of Improvised Explosive Devices  (IED) reporting forms.   The participants included mine action organisations such as MAG, Sterling, FSD, HI, Janus, UNMAS, IKMAA and iMMAP. ACTED – NCCI – Update 5th October RRM ProgramThrough the Rapid Response Mechanism, ACTED provides newly displaced persons with life-saving supplies for three to five days, allowing time for further humanitarian assistance to be mobilized and target this group with extensive and robust aid packages. The RRM programme is designed in partnership with WFP, UNICEF and UNFPA to create a comprehensive response to displaced individuals.The RRM kits consist of ready-to-eat food, water, hygiene items, and a dignity kit designed to cover the most basic requirements to families who have nothing. RRM in IraqACTED is currently the primary implementing partner, designated to distribute these essential items to recently displaced populations in 51 districts across the Kurdish Region of Iraq, (KRI).
