A draft for a national strategy to develop women conditions in the KRG has been shared by the High Council of Women Affairs. The Council hopes to cooperate with relevant entities in order to prepare a proper strategy for implementation with regards to improving women conditions.

The national strategy to combat violence against women in the KRG, which was ratified by the Presidency Council of Ministers, is part of this strategy.
The High Council for Women Affairs will later conduct a series of seminars to collect all suggestions and feedback (TBA).
